Is there a boot log somewhere in Win XP? If so where is it located?

I need to find out why my computer is taking so long to boot!

Thanks

Ron

The boot log produced by Windows XP contains only a single entry per
event and there is no timing data included so it is basically useless
for the purposes you want to use it for.

Hopefully this will be remedied, if not in future Windows XP Service
Pack then it the next version of Windows, but for now there is no
convenient way of diagnosing the specific causes of startup delays.

This is one area where Windows XP is definitely inferior to the 9x
versions.
