Lost file in Content.IE5 folder

I worked long and hard on an Excel speadsheet file that had arrived as an
attachment in IE. I saved the file but just realized that I saved it to it's
original location - the hidden Content.IE5 folder in my TIF. I've tried
innumerable ways to recover it and can't. Any ideas?

LOL+ - that's what I did, Carey, thanks. And it arrived in OE, not IE. As so
often happens in these situations, I think I'm creating a better overall
spreadsheet during this re-creation of the hosed file. Anyway, onward!

I can think of two or three ways, four if your hard disk is formatted
with FAT32.
How desperate are you to get hold of the file?

Five and counting.
This is the easiest way.
Open IE. Click tools, internet options, settings (TIF section) then
view files. If your file is there you can copy it.
