Hi,
I found the following errors in my fbalog.txt (XPE SP2):
14:41:04 PM - [FBARegQueue: DllInstall] C:\WINDOWS\system32\eventcls.dll
(Error: 0x8000ffff)
14:41:04 PM - [FBARegQueue: DllInstall] C:\WINDOWS\system32\swprv.dll
(Error: 0x8000ffff)
I checked both DLLs on the target system, the DLLs are available. I checked
them with Dependency Walker too, all needed DLLs are available on the
system.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Günter

Hi,
Farther down I found the lines:
4:52:40 PM - [FBALaunch] C:\WINDOWS\system32\regsvr32.exe /s /i
C:\WINDOWS\system32\eventcls.dll (ExitCode: 0x0)
14:52:45 PM - [FBALaunch] C:\WINDOWS\system32\regsvr32.exe /s /i
C:\WINDOWS\system32\swprv.dll (ExitCode: 0x0)
I think it is possible to ignore the errors?
Regards,
Günter

Günter,
Usually you can ignore those errors.
You've probably seen this but still:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.embedded/msg/8b8be6dafa40e51a?hl=en
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.embedded/msg/f6a1c82cba279855?hl=en
If you want to investigate it further, you would need to take a look at your
SetupApi.log files and Event Viewer logs.
