I called on a customer the other day, who has recently upgraded from XP-Home to
XP-PRO, a friend of his tried to install the XP-PRO upgrade and didn't have
a vaild
product Key!!!!
I tried to uninstall XP-PRO, because it happened to be an upgrade, I went to
CMD
and typed cd.. c:/windows/system32 and then osuninstall.exe, an error message
came up saying something about not having the right product key.
He originally had XP-Home that he bought with the computer he said,
any idea's.

The obvious question: why do you not look at what said customer has in
order to obtain the correct key? Does he have the legitimate
"holygrammed' copy of the upgrade CD? If so, what you need is probably
on the CD "slip" envelope PLAINLY marked as to what it represents?
