When I go to open an attachment, mostly photos from family, I keep getting this message.......
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.

I don't know what it means. I was able to open these attachments before so I don't know what I've done to change that. HELP!!!

Thanks for any help........4mans@adelphia.net

go to control panel, open folder options go to the tab file types, in the registered file types scroll down to jpeg highlight it, and in the details for jpeg extension change to windows picture/fax view hit apply hit ok, and see if this helps you.
Also in XP service pack 2, in outlook express by default to download images has been disabled, so open outlook express go to tools and then options click on security, under download images un check it. I always have mine checked so that I do not expose my computer to possible problems. So when I need to view a picture (from some one I trust) I uncheck it but when I am finished I put the check mark back.
