RD Printing problems

I have a client who uses her home office PC to RD into her work PC and
Mother's PC. Upon initial connection to either computer, she is able to print
to her local (home office) printer with no problems. The problems begin when
ever she chooses LOG OFF to end her RD session. After disconnecting from
either computer in this manner, when she logs back into either remote system
and tries to print, she recieves the "unable to connect to printer" error
message. The only way to clear this up, is for her to reboot the remote
system and log back in upon completion of restart. After the reboot, shes
able to print to her local printer with no problems until she disconnects
again using LOG OFF instead of DISCONNECT.

Now, using DISCONNECT, this is no longer an issue until some one logs into
the remote system locally. At that point, when she RDs back into the remote
system, she encounters the same issue and has to reboot the remote system.

Anyone ever ran into the issue? Now what causes it and/how to fix it?
