Dee,

Code 39 means the driver may be corrupted or missing.

Make sure you've got the driver built in your image. If the driver is not in
XPe database, you will have to componentize it.

To analyze why the driver did not get installed, please refer to
\Windows\SetupApi.log file.

Well, I got it to work and just wanted to write what I did for others. I
deleted the current cdrom component in my image. Replaced it with a generic
cdrom component (there are many). I also added 'CDFS' - but i don't think
this is relevant to the problem. Anyway it worked after that.
