Hi!
I'm using windows xp pro on a lan, and have set up remote desktop which
works fine except for one issue.
The remote desktop client on my laptop refuses to connect unless I have
logged on at least once already (with any account) at the host. Once
I've done this it works fine until I next reboot.
I use the cartoony logon screen but changing to the win2k-style one
didn't seem to change much.
At the moment I'm working around it by using tweakui to autologin to a
restricted account on the host. Clearly this a bit of an ugly hack and
isn't ideal from either a security or a performance pov.
Is there any other way to sort out this issue?
Cheers,
Elsie
